Mickey Thompson Is The Official Tire Of 2010 Hot Rod Drag Week

Stow, OH - Mickey Thompson is proud to participate as the official tire of the 2010 Hot Rod "Drag Week" taking place September 13-18. This is the sixth annual Hot Rod Drag Week, known as the greatest streetcar drag race.

Drag Week requires competitors to drive more than 1,000 miles in five days while racing at four different drag strips along the way. The winners are the cars in each class that set the lowest average elapsed time over the five races, and the overall quickest car is named Hot Rod's Fastest Street Car in America. This year, the event starts and ends at the National Trail Raceway and visits O'Reilly Raceway Park in Clermont, Ind. (the historic site of the NHRA Nationals), Milan Dragway in Milan, Mich., and Pittsburgh Raceway Park in New Alexandria, Pa.
