Clint Hairston Sets New Pro Street Record At Pacific Street Car Association Edelbrock World Finals On Mickey Thompson Tires

Stow, OH - Clint Hairston wowed the crowds at the annual PSCA Edelbrock World Finals in Fontana, Calif. November 7-9, 2008. Hairston reset the Top Speed mark at 226.85 miles per hour with elapsed time records in Pro Street action at 6.324.

The Hairston TanGlo Orange Pontiac GTO competed in the final against PSCA newcomer Mike Maggio in his blown Chevy Corvette. Maggio, also running Mickey Thompson tires, left the starting line a tenth ahead of Hairston, but Hairston quickly made up the difference. This was the second win of 2008 for Hairston Motorsports, and all accomplished on Mickey Thompson ET Drag Tires.
