Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels is helping bring nationally acclaimed drag racing competitions to its home state.

Named the Official Tire of Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, the team hopes to build further awareness of Mickey Thompson’s complete line of drag racing tires.

"It’s a big deal for us to be involved with ‘America’s Racetrack,’ especially with it being in our backyard," said Jason Moulton, Sr. Motorsports Manager, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels. "We are excited for this opportunity to bring our extensive racing experience to the national circuit and increase our involvement with this iconic racetrack."

Opened in 1963, Summit Motorsports Park specializes in presenting family entertainment and hosts a variety of touring motorsports events. Nationally it has been selected Track Of The Year 20 times, including nine times by the National Hot Rod Association (2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018).

The facility presents more than 100 events each calendar year, attracting more than 500,000 guests from across the United States and Canada. As the Official Tire of Summit Motorsports Park, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels will have access to display space for hospitality and racer support in the Midway at all Summit Motorsports Park-produced events.
