America’s fastest street-legal drag cars will have the support of Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels as they tackle the grueling HOT ROD Drag Week in September.

As the Official Tire Sponsor, Mickey Thompson’s ET Drag Racing tire line will be showcased during the 18th anniversary of Drag Week, which mixes street driving with visits to four different racetracks in five days. Registration sold out within minutes this year.

"HOT ROD Drag Week puts the country’s top street-legal drag cars to the test, and Mickey Thompson will be with competitors every mile along the way," said Jason Moulton, Sr. Motorsports Manager of Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels. "This is the event that started it all, and the community of racers that participate is unlike any other."

The event kicks off Sunday, Sept. 18, with registration and tech day at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison Illinois. Competitors will travel roughly 1,000 miles of roadways to photo checkpoints throughout the week, with races in between at Lucas Oil Raceway Park in Indianapolis; Byron Dragway in Byron, Illinois; and Cordova Dragway in Cordova, Illinois; before returning to World Wide in Madison for the final day of racing on Friday, Sept. 23. Mickey Thompson will be on hand at the tracks, offering products, information and tech support.

Mickey Thompson’s ET Drag Racing tire line includes bias ply, radial and street-strip models, plus front tires, tubes, and junior and motorcycle applications.
