King of the Hammers (KOH) attendees have the chance to take their off-road ready vehicles on the legendary KOH race course during the KOH Experience - slated for Saturday, Feb. 9 in Johnson Valley, CA.
Participants in the KOH Experience will be led by Tony Pellegrino from GenRight Off Road on the same path the Unlimited Class race cars will tackle the day before during the official King of the Hammers race.
Drivers will traverse obstacles and rough terrain, putting their off-road vehicles to the ultimate test in some of the most remote areas of the Johnson Valley off-highway vehicle area.
Because of the course’s extreme terrain, no stock vehicles are allowed to participate in the KOH Experience. Officials recommend 35-inch tires and lockers, and drivers should be ready to test the limits of their vehicle.
The KOH Experience run will take place rain or shine. Check in is at the Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels trailer between 8-9:30 a.m. on Feb. 9. The run will depart at 10:30 a.m. Officials expect participants to be back in Hammertown by 4 p.m.
